A prominent data firm based in South Yorkshire has successfully secured its largest cloud contract to date with a major United States health insurer.
The landmark agreement spans an initial three-year subscription period and is valued at approximately $3 million. The American health insurer, which employs 22,000 personnel and serves 15 million members, will integrate the data firm’s advanced cloud technology to enable seamless data migration without disrupting business operations.
David Richards, the Chief Executive Officer and chairman of the firm, which operates dual headquarters in Sheffield and California, remarked: “This contract illustrates the significant traction we are gaining in healthcare and other key industries. The $3 million contract initially spans three years, but there is significant potential to expand this further to meet their developing data requirements. Our pipeline continues to grow, and we remain confident and excited about our future. The customer has vast data streams which need to be consistently and continuously available during migration to cloud, hybrid cloud and multi-cloud.”
This substantial contract underscores the rising influence of the South Yorkshire firm in the cloud technology sector, particularly within the healthcare industry, with promising prospects for future expansion.
