TerraQuest has moved its Birmingham team from Broad Street to a new, modern office space in Northspring, Temple Street. This relocation follows a significant renovation programme and marks a milestone for the company.
TerraQuest, a company headquartered in Birmingham with additional offices in Bristol and Belfast, offers software products for land and planning projects. Founded in 1972, the firm recently relocated to a 7,000 sq ft office in Northspring, Temple Street.
David Bellamy, Chief Operating Officer of TerraQuest, emphasised the importance of the move saying, “Relocating to our new office at Northspring represents a significant milestone for TerraQuest. This modern space is perfectly suited to our evolving needs, enabling us to drive innovation, enhance teamwork and continue delivering exceptional results in an inspiring environment.”
The Birmingham office serves as the headquarters for TerraQuest, which employs 125 people. Property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton, the letting agency for the building, facilitated the relocation. Director Richard Williams stated, “We’re thrilled to welcome Terraquest to Temple Street. This move is especially significant as it serves as the headquarters of their entire business. This also represents the largest letting in the building to date.”
Northspring, the new name for 31 Temple Street, was previously the location of law firm Irwin Mitchell until its relocation to The Colmore Building in 2020. The extensive renovation programme resulted in the creation of 23 separate office suites and new tenant facilities such as a business lounge, screening room, podcast studio, and private booths for video calls.
Other tenants at Northspring include software firm Invida and civil engineering consultancy McLaughlin & Harvey. Joint agency Avison Young collaborates with Lambert Smith Hampton on the building’s management.
TerraQuest’s relocation to Northspring represents a strategic step towards fostering innovation and team collaboration within an upgraded and modernised workspace. This move aligns with the company’s long-term goals and operational needs.
