ASH Integrated Services Ltd., a dynamic small engineering company from Atherton, Greater Manchester, has achieved remarkable successes, outshining top FTSE 250 companies at the prestigious PFM and ECN Awards 2023.
At the PFM Awards 2023 in London, ASH secured the ‘Partners in SME Organisation Award’ alongside client Lovett Care Homes and was named ‘Overall Award Winners,’ an unprecedented feat for a SME. Operations Manager Gary Zetter’s representation as a grand finalist for a ‘Special Recognition Award’ added another achievement.
Hosted by TV personality Claudia Winkleman, the PFM Awards celebrated its 30th anniversary this year. ASH’s overall victory marked the first time an SME earned this esteemed title, standing out among larger competitors. With just over 50 employees, ASH was the smallest company in the finals and the only finalist from outside London. Company Director Antony Grace emphasized teamwork, saying, “This recognition is not just for us but for every individual who contributed to our success. We win as a team.”
On November 3rd, ASH continued their winning streak at the GMCC Excellence Awards 2023 in Manchester, being declared ‘SME Business of the Year’ against 40 other companies. ASH’s stellar performance did not stop there.
At the ECN Awards 2023 in Coventry on November 30th, ASH was named ‘Winners of the Contractor of the Year Award (turnover under £5m).’ Their ‘Openshaw College 874 Solar PV Panel Project’ also received ‘Highly Commended’ awards for ‘Sustainable Project of the Year’ and ‘Overall Project of the Year.’ Company Director Antony Grace remarked, “We aimed to raise our business profile, enhance our name and reputation, and compete against industry giants. Winning the ‘Contractor of the Year Award’ and the recognition for our sustainable project is a testament to our commitment to excellence.”
