A recruitment company that started from a kitchen table in 2016 is preparing to open its 11th office in Gloucester.
Swift Temps, established by Damian Lee in Worcestershire, currently operates ten branches across the Midlands and North West England. The new Gloucester hub is part of an ambitious plan to open five offices along the southern section of the M5 corridor. This office will support businesses across the South West in filling both temporary and permanent roles.
The Gloucester office will be led by Lee, along with his long-term business partner Ross Wright and recruitment expert Dave Green, who is joining as a director. Green, with 25 years of experience in the recruitment sector, will help drive the company’s growth in the region.
Lee expressed his enthusiasm for the new office, stating, ‘We’re delighted to open our first office dedicated to serving the Gloucestershire area, making this our eleventh office nationally. Ross, Dave and I are focused on opening an additional four offices in the South West over the next five years, adding to the success of the branch network in the Midlands and the North West.’
The company’s expansion into Gloucester is its most significant regional growth in six years and is part of a strategy to create a national network of professional recruitment services. The Gloucestershire branch will specialise in placing workers in various sectors, including industrial, food, engineering, transport, and commercial.
Lee also noted, ‘We already have a number of jobs available across the region on both a temporary and permanent basis. We would encourage local people looking for work to come forward and discuss their requirements with our team as we approach the busiest time of year for many of our clients.’
Last year, Swift Temps was honoured as one of the best recruitment agencies in the country at the Recruitment Industry Awards, finishing as runner-up in the annual competition.
The opening of the new office in Gloucester represents a significant step in Swift Temps’ strategic expansion plans, aiming to establish a comprehensive national network of recruitment services.
