The new Vienna routes will operate twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays, from 20th November to 14th December 2025. Meanwhile, the Krakow and Prague routes will also have twice weekly services on Mondays and Fridays, from 28th November to 15th December 2025.
Manchester Airport is set to benefit from additional scheduled services to Budapest, Krakow, Prague, and Vienna. Furthermore, popular routes to Berlin, Cologne, and Gdansk are returning next year. The programme also includes an extended season to Berlin, covering the New Year period for the first time.
From Manchester, the Christmas Markets programme will include flights and breaks to Berlin, with up to two weekly flights from 28th November 2025 to 5th January 2026. Similarly, Cologne flights will operate from 28th November 2025 to 2nd January 2026, and Gdansk flights from 28th November to 22nd December 2025.
Steve Heapy, CEO, commented: “The demand we are seeing for our enormously popular Christmas Markets programme continues to increase, which is why we have responded with our biggest choice ever for Winter 25/26.”
Paul Winfield, Aviation Director for LJLA, expressed his enthusiasm: “We are delighted to welcome a third city break market with Jet2.com to the Austrian capital of Vienna. This new route will complement existing city break markets to Krakow and Prague, and we anticipate high demand from passengers across the Liverpool City Region and wider North West. We look forward to making the route a success.”
These new routes offer an exciting opportunity for travellers to explore some of Europe’s most enchanting Christmas markets. The addition of new destinations and increased flight frequencies highlights the growing demand for festive travel experiences.
