Consumer insights company Vypr is planning a significant expansion into the United States. The move aims to increase their size by four times, adding 100 new jobs.

Vypr, with its innovative “product intelligence” platform, provides brands with the tools to engage and understand their target audiences. This unique platform has amassed a dedicated digital community of over 70,000 users from the UK, France, and Germany. By participating in market research, these users aid brands in developing new products and fine-tuning existing ones. The company’s approach is revolutionising traditional focus groups through its app-based methodology.

Vypr’s CEO, Chris Williams, emphasizes the strategic expansion into the US as a pivotal step. His vision is to harness existing client relationships, especially with major brands like Kraft Heinz and Starbucks, to establish a firm foothold in the US market. “Having those logos and those great relationships already hopefully sets us up really well for going into America,” he noted.

The expansion also signifies Vypr’s commitment to strengthening its Manchester base. The firm’s focus is not only on international growth but also on enhancing capabilities and team size domestically.

According to Williams, the gamified experience encourages users to participate more willingly in market research as it is convenient and less time-consuming than traditional surveys. Users can contribute insights effortlessly, even while attending to daily routines.

Williams is confident that the company’s strategic approach will yield substantial growth, asserting that the path to becoming an international player is achievable through methodical planning and innovation-driven models.

Vypr’s expansion into the US market represents a critical step in its global growth strategy. With a strong foundation in the UK, the firm is well-positioned to achieve its ambitious goals.
