A team of six from a Chester-based company recently raised thousands of pounds for one of the UK’s largest children’s hospitals. This achievement exceeded their initial fundraising target, thanks to overwhelming support from donors.

The challenge included an 11.8km hike to the summit of the Old Man of Coniston, a 15km cycle through Grizedale Forest, and a 3km canoe on Coniston Water. This ‘triathlon with a twist’ tested the participants’ physical limits.
