Supersonic strengthens team with key appointments

Supersonic, in its commitment to enhanced creativity and production, announces two strategic hires.

Supersonic has made significant moves to bolster their strategic and creative capabilities with two new senior hires. Perry Smith has been appointed as the Design Director. Smith’s impressive background includes pivotal roles at IMA-HOME and Propaganda, equipping him with the expertise needed for this position at the burgeoning Leeds agency.

Alicia Chadwick joins the team as a Senior Producer, bringing a dynamic edge to Supersonic. Her experience spans both IMA-HOME and Brawl, and her appointment is expected to further enhance the agency’s production quality. The founders of Supersonic had past collaborations with both hires, a factor they cite as critical in their decision-making process.

Co-founder Ben Bateson expressed enthusiasm about the new appointments, noting that the team’s deliberate approach to recruitment prioritises skill and compatibility. “We’re a deliberately small team, so we need to make sure we have the best people in every position to do the best work,” he commented.

Supersonic was established with the vision of providing agile and effective solutions, delivered by a compact and skilled team. This approach is evident in their partnerships with renowned clients such as Stagecoach, William Hill, Dusk, De Vere, and Travelopia, where they continue to grow while staying true to their founding principles.

Initiated last year by industry veterans Don McGrath, Ben Bateson, Cat Cronin, and Brad Hill, Supersonic has swiftly garnered attention for its tactical and innovative approaches. Their mission to remain ‘smaller, faster, stronger’ is not just rhetoric but a guiding principle that drives their business and hiring strategies.

Supersonic’s new hires mark a pivotal step in their journey towards enhanced creative and productive excellence.
