A Danish software company has announced its intention to set up a UK technology development hub following the successful closure of a €35 million investment round.
The enterprise has been pioneering a flexible rota scheduling platform aimed at shift-based businesses, facilitating real-time communication amongst employees, managers, and co-workers. This recent funding round was led by Nordic financial services group SEB Private Equity and included investments from existing backers such as Creandum and Idinvest.
In the United Kingdom, where shift-based work accounts for an estimated 26 per cent of all employment, the company claims a user base expansion rate exceeding 250 per cent annually. The new development hub in the UK will support the growth of its sales and customer support teams, centred in its London office.
Christian Brøndum, the Chief Executive Officer, stated, “This investment will further enable us to help customers automate their business processes and save administrative time through our partnerships with industry leaders such as Apple, Lightspeed, Intuit and Sage.”
