Six-figure Investment Enables Agency to Double Headcount

A Manchester-based social media marketing agency has more than doubled its headcount 12 months after receiving a £100,000 investment from NPIF – Maven Equity Finance, part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund.

Established in 2016, the agency creates and manages social media campaigns using the latest technology and smart software. It also collaborates with a list of social media influencers who assist brands in placing their products and services before millions of social media users. The agency has partnered with several well-known brands, including Bud Light, BlanX, and Betfred. Recently, it supported one of Australia’s largest cosmetic companies in building its brand awareness in the UK.

The investment provided by NPIF – Maven Equity Finance has allowed the agency to double its headcount, growing from five to 13 employees within the past year. This significant growth has led to the agency being shortlisted for two titles at the prestigious UK Agency Awards and the ‘Team of the Year’ category at the NatWest Entrepreneur Awards.

The agency’s growth trajectory shows no signs of slowing down, with plans to create an additional five new roles before spring at its Manchester head office. The agency has already commenced the search for talent in preparation for its London launch later this year. Already operating across a portfolio of London-based clients, the agency views this expansion as an opportunity to scale up and create further roles within the business.
