Ruck Engineering has made a significant appointment by promoting Rob Pound to the newly established position of Director of Engineering. This announcement comes after a period of sustained growth for the company, which specialises in the supply, servicing, and maintenance of cleaning equipment in the North East.
Rob’s longstanding tenure of over 23 years with the firm has seen him climb the ranks, starting as a field engineer and progressing through roles such as technical manager, sales manager, and most recently, senior engineer. According to Managing Director Simon Ruck, “Rob, who joined at the age of 21, has been an integral part of Ruck Engineering for over two decades, and has helped me build this business up from its roots.” Rob’s extensive knowledge is expected to bring added structure and efficiency to the engineering department.
The strategic decision to create this new senior management role is part of Ruck Engineering’s broader plans for expansion. These plans include the creation of two additional positions in the sales and marketing departments, underscoring the company’s commitment to growth and excellence.
