Ripple Expected to Lead Crypto Adoption

ripple expected to lead crypto adoption business manchester

Ripple XRP is anticipated to become the dominant digital currency for businesses, drawing parallels to Microsoft’s role in the early internet era, according to Phillip Nunn, CEO of The Blackmore Group and Wealth Chain Group.

Phillip Nunn recently tweeted expressing his scepticism towards Ripple XRP, yet acknowledging their significant advancements. He stated, ‘I’ve never been a supporter of #ripple $xrp. But boy they are making some serious moves. And the fact I have issues with their offering are being put aside for now as they become so important in flying the #crypto #blockchain flag. They will become the Microsoft of #crypto.’

In an interview, Nunn elaborated on his views, comparing Ripple’s current trajectory to Microsoft’s success during the internet’s rise. He highlighted that, akin to Microsoft, Ripple prioritises adoption over product development. He mentioned that while Microsoft’s technology was often criticised as substandard, Bill Gates’ emphasis on early adoption helped establish Windows, Excel, and Word as essential tools for businesses globally.

Nunn emphasised that the upcoming wave of cryptocurrency is focussed on adoption, stressing that entities mastering this aspect will thrive while others may falter. He noted Ripple’s strategic placement within major banks, positioning XRP for widespread acceptance.

Currently, Ripple XRP ranks third in market capitalisation among cryptocurrencies, following Bitcoin and Ethereum. Its current value stands at 52 cents per coin, having recently reached a peak of 61 cents. Nigel Green, the founder and CEO of deVere Group, optimistically predicted last week that Ripple XRP will gain further momentum and achieve a $1 valuation by the end of the year.

Ripple’s focus on adoption and integration within the banking sector signifies its potential to dominate the cryptocurrency landscape, drawing significant comparisons to Microsoft’s historical impact on the business world.
