Richard Grafton Interiors has completely revamped its flagship showroom in Harrogate’s Montpellier Quarter, reflecting the company’s vision for modern interior design. The transformation follows a significant £250,000 investment, marking a new chapter for the Yorkshire-based interior design firm.
The showroom, which opened in March 2012, has been updated to meet growing client demands for bespoke kitchen installations and high-end interiors. The ground floor now features a luxury kitchen room set, replete with a pantry and larder, showcasing the company’s craftsmanship and attention to detail.
A newly designed ‘snug’ on the ground floor displays hand-crafted cabinetry and designer furniture, including a specially made media cabinet. The first floor boasts a fully furnished bedroom, dressing room, and formal sitting room. These spaces are filled with an extensive range of design-led interior products. Additionally, the first floor incorporates a design hub that allows for closer collaboration within the design team.
The top floor remains dedicated to the design studio, housing an array of fabrics, wall coverings, and flooring libraries, enabling the team to create custom interiors for their clients. The company plans to officially unveil the renovated showroom during an Open Week starting 12th July.
Charlotte Grafton, Operational Director, noted, “As it is 12 years since we opened our doors in the town, we have taken the opportunity to completely transform the whole showroom with an updated, contemporary look to reflect changing trends. The importance of the kitchen as the heart of the home is evident and with continued client demand to see and touch our offering, we decided to put it at the centre of our refurbished Harrogate furnishings and interior design showroom.”
Managing Director Richard Grafton explained, “We’re constantly adapting, investing and improving to offer the very best service to clients and, in particular, we’re continuing to see huge growth within the architectural design side of the business. The creation of a kitchen room set in our Harrogate showroom gives clients the chance to see first-hand the unique way in which we curate collections of items, bringing together materials, fabrics and components to complement our interior design-led cabinetry.”
The firm is also expanding its Harrogate team with the recent addition of architectural designer Ruth Dawe, who specialises in kitchen and bathroom design, and interior designer Natalie Burka. Currently, the business employs 28 people across its three showrooms and head office.
Established in 2012, Richard Grafton Interiors has evolved from a provider of fabrics and soft furnishings into a comprehensive service offering complete turnkey solutions through its team of designers, spatial planners, and installers.
The investment in the Harrogate showroom signifies Richard Grafton Interiors’ commitment to innovation and client satisfaction. By continually evolving its offerings and expanding its team, the company is well-positioned to maintain its reputation for excellence in interior design.
