Gateley Legal has appointed Adam West as the new partner in its private client team in Manchester. West transitions from Knights, where he held the position of private wealth partner.
Manchester-native Adam West brings a wealth of accolades and experience to his new role. Recognised as the 2021 Citywealth Future Leaders Partner of the Year and featured four times on Eprivateclient’s ‘Top 35 under 35’ list, West’s expertise is well-acknowledged in the field.
In his capacity at Gateley Legal, West will lead a diverse array of private client engagements. He will provide strategic guidance to entrepreneurs, non-domiciled individuals, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, shareholders, and family enterprises. A significant portion of his responsibilities will involve tax planning for shareholders anticipating future exits or sales, as well as tax structuring and succession planning post-sale.
