In a significant development for the UK’s home care sector, Esteem Care Holdings has been acquired by Grosvenor Health and Social Care. This major transaction is set to bolster home care services.
Esteem Care, headquartered in Manchester, was bought in a multimillion-pound deal. Boasting over 7,150 care hours weekly across multiple branches, Esteem Care serves 620 clients with a dedicated team of 250 staff.
The Acquisition Deal

Leadership and Strategic Vision
Dr Sayani Sainudeen, founding partner and investment director of Y1 Capital, commented, “This acquisition ensures that our clients will continue to receive top-tier, compassionate care while benefiting from Grosvenor’s expansive resources and expertise.”
Tony Veverka, CEO of Esteem and Y1 Capital, shared similar sentiments. He noted, “Joining Grosvenor is a strategic step that promises growth and enhanced service delivery for our clients.”
History of Esteem Care

Able Care and Support Services and Vive UK Social Care joined in 2020. The group rebranded as Esteem in 2023 under the guidance of Tony Veverka.
Commitment to Quality Care
Grosvenor Health and Social Care is optimistic about integrating Esteem Care’s model into its operations.
Lee Peach from Grosvenor said, “Esteem Care’s dedication to personalised, high-quality care is a perfect fit for our vision.”
Future Focus
Post-acquisition, Dr Sainudeen and Tony Veverka will concentrate on Transform Healthcare.
Transform Healthcare is the UK’s largest provider of cosmetic and bariatric surgery.
Dr Sainudeen has urged the new Labour Government to invest more in social care.
The acquisition of Esteem Care by Grosvenor signals a promising future for home care services across the UK.
With experienced leadership and a commitment to quality, the integration is set to benefit countless clients.
