This month marks the 20th anniversary since Mitchell Mazda became part of the Mazda UK dealership network. The family-run dealership, based in Cheshire, has consistently delivered outstanding customer and community experiences.

Mark Mitchell DL, Managing Director at Mitchell Group, expressed immense pride at reaching this milestone. He attributed their success to a focus on people—both colleagues and customers. This principle will continue to guide their operations in the future.

Phil Abram, Mazda Service Manager with nearly 20 years of service, emphasised their commitment to customer satisfaction and loyalty. He mentioned their complimentary Saturday car wash service, which has been pivotal in fostering close relationships with customers and ensuring high retention rates. Each Saturday, around 100 cars and their owners benefit from this service.

Brian Blanchard, Mazda Brand Manager with 27 years of experience, highlighted their annual Ride Out Day for MX-5 owners. This event draws over 120 customers each year, showcasing the MX-5’s capabilities and providing a memorable experience for participants. Some owners travel up to 150 miles to join the event.

Currently employing 27 team members, 30 per cent of whom have been with the dealership since its launch in 2004, Mitchell Mazda prides itself on its experienced and dedicated team. The dealership features a 16-car showroom and a 20-bay workshop, along with a first-class waiting lounge offering complimentary hot breakfast rolls and refreshments for customers during service appointments.

Mitchell Mazda is deeply committed to community service, donating 10 per cent of its profits to various charities and projects annually. They also organise fundraising events, such as a Christmas carol celebration at Chester Cathedral, which supports local food banks and other community needs. Additionally, the dealership supports an initiative through the charity World Vision, allowing colleagues to sponsor a child in the developing world through payroll deductions, ensuring access to quality healthcare and education.

Jeremy Thomson, Managing Director at Mazda UK, praised Mitchell Mazda’s dedication and hard work over the past two decades. He remarked on their exceptional customer retention rate, attributing it to the unique culture within the dealership.
