marketing tech firm expands uk support with new london office business manchester

A Berlin-headquartered location marketing technology specialist has recently inaugurated a new office in London’s historic St. Katharine Docks. This strategic initiative is set to offer enhanced personalised support to existing UK customers while expanding its market footprint.

The new office will be home to a team of seasoned technology professionals led by the recently appointed UK vice president, Daniel Mathew. With over 20 years of commercial experience in the digital sector, Mathew’s leadership is anticipated to drive growth and innovation. His previous roles include leading the growth strategy for an AI-derived analytics solution at StormGeo and founding a high-growth WeatherTech start-up.

The company’s cloud-based online-presence management solution is designed to assist local businesses—particularly retailers, restaurants, bars, and other high street firms—in converting mobile and online searches into tangible sales through effective location marketing. Under Mathew’s stewardship, the team aims to help these businesses unlock additional revenue streams by increasing foot traffic and engaging more customers via social media and review sites.

Co-CEO David Federhen expressed confidence in Mathew’s appointment, stating, “Daniel brings exceptionally strong knowledge and experience, and his customer-focused approach will be vital to providing our clients with the best support possible. I am delighted he is leading our London team and know he will be instrumental in expanding our international footprint.”

Mathew emphasised the significance of an online presence for local businesses, highlighting the research that shows 88 per cent of consumers search online for local products and services before purchasing in-store. He remarked, “This is a tough time for many UK high street retailers and businesses; our focus will be on helping them attract new customers and drive footfall by integrating digital technologies into their day-to-day operations.”

The new London operations are part of a broader strategy to increase market presence in key global markets. In addition to its London team and Berlin headquarters, the company also has offices in Amsterdam, Paris, San Francisco, and Cape Town. Recently, the company raised its series B funding to $50 million and announced the acquisition of Navads, making it one of the largest location marketing platforms globally.

The establishment of a new office in London marks a significant step in the company’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its presence in the UK market. With experienced leadership and advanced technological solutions, the company is well-positioned to provide valuable support to local businesses and drive further growth.
