The Regenda Group has reaffirmed its partnership with Forbes Solicitors, extending their collaboration that began in 2006. Forbes will continue to provide legal services across four crucial areas, ensuring ongoing support for The Regenda Group’s multifaceted operations.

The reappointment of Forbes Solicitors to The Regenda Group’s legal services framework underscores the effectiveness and depth of their longstanding collaboration. Forbes will maintain its advisory role in corporate, governance, financial and securitisation, housing, management, and commercial, property, development and construction, and HR sectors. This decision follows a rigorous tendering process where Forbes’ expertise in these key areas was prominently recognised.

Julie Vincent, Director of Governance at The Regenda Group, highlighted the significance of this partnership in the broader context of their organisational mission. She noted, “Our organisation strives to deliver positive social impact throughout housing and construction, care and support, and education, training and careers. Part of this involves pooling expertise with suppliers and partners who have the capabilities to support us in regenerating places and creating opportunities for people.”

Vincent further emphasised that Forbes Solicitors excelled during the tendering process due to their wide range of specialisations and cohesive team approach. “They have an in-depth understanding of our key sectors and can help us to effectively make a difference in these important areas,” she asserted.

Catherine Kennedy, Head of Housing and Regeneration at Forbes Solicitors, reflected on the rewarding nature of their collaborative efforts over the past 18 years. She remarked, “It has been an honour to be part of The Regenda Group’s legal services framework during these years. We’ve been able to support their innovative and progressive projects, which has been motivational and rewarding.”

Kennedy is optimistic about the future of this partnership, stating, “We’re very much looking forward to continuing to work together and supporting their ambitions in fast-paced and evolving markets. Housing, care and education are subject to expansive regulation and face a multitude of opportunities and challenges that should be handled considerately and sensitively. Working as an extended part of The Regenda Group’s team and providing authentic advice helps to achieve this.”

This reappointment highlights Forbes’ enduring strength and presence in the social housing sector. Following recent rounds of national tendering, legal services contracts were also awarded to Forbes by the not-for-profit Communities and Housing Investment Consortium Ltd and Ongo Homes Ltd, a Community Benefit Society, reinforcing their reputation in the field.

The ongoing alliance between The Regenda Group and Forbes Solicitors exemplifies a successful partnership grounded in expertise and mutual goals. With both organisations committed to driving positive social impact, their continued collaboration promises further advancements in housing, care, and education sectors.
