ICG, a strategic marketing agency based in Lancashire, is celebrating an impressive 30 years in business. The agency has kicked off a year-long celebration with the launch of a new website and a special birthday party for staff, family, and friends.
Founded in 1994, ICG has evolved significantly over the past three decades. Today, its team of 22 professionals supports more than 80 clients across the UK and Europe. This growth reflects the agency’s commitment to excellence and its ability to adapt to industry changes.
According to Managing Director Simon Couchman, “We are absolutely thrilled to be celebrating 30 years of ICG – it reflects the incredible hard work of all our teams both past and present. During the last 30 years, we’ve witnessed incredible changes in our sector and it’s fair to say that you can never rest on your laurels.”
Couchman also highlighted the agency’s competitive spirit, noting, “We compete with many of the larger city agencies and are extremely proud of our work and our long-standing client partnerships.” He reminisced about the early days in 1994, when print was dominant and fax machines were still in use. Today, the focus has shifted to influencers, Google Analytics, and engaging digital content.
Looking ahead, ICG has an exciting lineup of events planned for the next year. These include a 1994 Fancy Dress Day, where team members will dress in period attire, and the introduction of the ICG awards, affectionately named ‘The Barnies.’
ICG’s 30th anniversary is a testament to its resilience, adaptability, and dedication to excellence.
