The Key, a North East charity dedicated to inspiring young people, has announced a significant leadership change. With the assistance of Peter Neal, founder of Experience Bank Group, Rebecca Maw will step in as the new CEO in late May 2024. This appointment marks a crucial step for The Key as it aims to further its mission of empowering the youth in the region.
Rebecca Maw’s background is impressive. Her career includes extensive work with communities across the North East, emphasising partnership efforts and voluntary sector networks. Rebecca expressed her commitment to fostering positive change and exploring innovative ideas to benefit young people, stating, “I am committed to fostering positive change and I don’t shy away from trying out new ideas to get the best for people.
