Irish superconducting cable specialist SuperNode has inaugurated a new Cable Technology Centre in Blyth, Northumberland, to spearhead the development and manufacturing of advanced cable solutions.

Founded in Dublin in 2018, the company aims to revolutionise power transmission with its innovative superconducting cables, significantly enhancing efficiency and reducing infrastructure requirements.

SuperNode’s decision to establish its Cable Technology Centre in Blyth is a pivotal step in the firm’s long-term strategic vision.
