ForthStar, a burgeoning name in the gaming industry, has set its sights on Foundation, Altrincham’s novel workspace, for its headquarters. This move marks a significant milestone for both ForthStar and the local business scene.

Launched by Bruntwood and Trafford Council, Foundation offers a 75,000 sq ft workspace that appeals to innovative firms. With ForthStar joining the community, the space is becoming a hub for industry leaders.

The newly developed Foundation building in Altrincham, created by Bruntwood in collaboration with Trafford Council, serves as a dynamic space for innovation and growth. With 75,000 sq ft of versatile workspace, it aims to attract businesses with its flexible office solutions. The facility includes amenities designed to foster a work-life balance, attracting both emerging and established enterprises.

Founded in 2023 by Paul Gouge and Alex Rigby, ForthStar is recognised for their successful mobile game, Golf Clash. The company secured $10 million from Griffin Gaming Partners to support its future projects. Previously housed at Station House, ForthStar has now moved to Foundation to further its growth trajectory. The new headquarters boasts a creative studio spanning 6,396 sq ft, designed to inspire and enhance productivity.

At Foundation, ForthStar benefits from an array of modern amenities, including an on-site gym and quality dining options. The space is crafted to support the creative process, offering an environment where talent thrives. These features are not only practical but also contribute to a vibrant business ecosystem. As part of this thriving community, ForthStar joins prominent businesses like Sportfive and Lane7, fostering collaboration and innovation.

Sharon Johnson, Head of Commercial at Bruntwood, emphasises the goal of nurturing a business community at Foundation. This redevelopment is a part of the larger transformation of Altrincham’s Stamford Quarter, aimed at enriching local opportunities. “We look forward to welcoming more businesses that share our vision,” Johnson adds, highlighting the collaborative spirit driving the project forward.

Councillor Liz Patel commends the redevelopment efforts, praising the partnership between Trafford Council and Bruntwood. The council’s work is pivotal in transforming the area into a hub for business and recreation. Patel expresses confidence in the positive impact this new space will have on both local and incoming businesses. “ForthStar’s presence is a testament to the scope of opportunities available,” says Patel.
