SecsintheCity, the only UK job board exclusively for Personal Assistants (PAs), Executive Assistants (EAs), legal PAs, and business support professionals, is hosting the 13th Annual PA of the Year Awards in 2024. The awards celebrate the dedication and hard work of these professionals.

With the nomination deadline closing on Friday, 20th September, there is limited time left to nominate deserving individuals. The categories for this year include ‘Legal PA of the Year’, ‘Business Support Manager of the Year’, and ‘PA of the Year’. Notably, this year also introduces a new category, ‘Business Support Manager of the Year’, recognising those who manage teams of PAs, EAs, and support professionals. This category acknowledges the critical role these managers play in leading and developing high-performing business support teams.

Recognising the outstanding skills and contributions of PAs, EAs, legal PAs, and Business Support Managers is crucial. SecsintheCity encourages self-nominations to allow professionals to celebrate their own achievements. The awards provide an opportunity for nominees to gain significant career accolades.

All finalists are invited to a private evening event at The Ivy, where they can celebrate their successes with their colleagues and peers. Winners will receive luxurious culinary prizes, such as a Chef’s Tasting Menu at The Shard with Oblix and a Taste of Savoy Grill for Two. The awards are judged by recruitment consultancy chief executive Suzanna Tait and marketing director Sarah EL-Doori. According to Tait, the winning qualities in nominees include “a genuine passion for the profession. Someone who through the challenges, hurdles, and problems to solve, genuinely loves what they do.”

Nominations close on Friday, 20th September, so there is still time to nominate deserving candidates using the nomination form available online. The awards are a prestigious recognition of the hard work and dedication of PAs, EAs, legal PAs, and Business Support Managers.
