Sky Business has finalised a long-term supply agreement with the telecoms company ITS, based in Daresbury, to deliver high-capacity Ethernet connectivity to various businesses and organisations across the UK.

This agreement highlights the effectiveness of recent investments in full-fibre infrastructure by ITS. The collaboration will integrate ITS’s fibre network with Sky Business’s core network, resulting in high-quality, ultrafast business-grade services. It will also provide Sky Business with enhanced flexibility and choice in its connectivity offerings.

Consequently, businesses partnering with Sky Business will benefit from a superior service experience managed by Sky Business’ UK-led operational centre. This partnership further strengthens the existing relationship, with Sky Business playing a significant role in supporting ITS’s broader connectivity portfolio.

Damian Saunders, Managing Director of Sky Business Hospitality, Mid-Market & Wholesale, commented: ‘Sky Business’s new partnership agreement with ITS will enable us to expand our reach and introduce an exciting new offering to deliver a robust network experience for more businesses across the UK. This means we are now uniquely positioned to provide our customers with a broader, combined infrastructure, underpinned by the best of both networks and our best-in-class service wrap.’

In addition, Daren Baythorpe, CEO at ITS, stated: ‘We have invested heavily in our full fibre infrastructure which has been designed and is being rolled out specifically to serve businesses across the UK. Driving business full fibre uptake through Tier 1 partners is at the heart of our growth strategy as we work towards our ambition to be the UK’s best option for last mile business-grade connectivity.’

ITS is currently exhibiting at the Connected Britain show at London’s ExCel centre, further highlighting its commitment to expanding its network and services. This agreement demonstrates the significant steps both companies are taking to advance UK’s digital infrastructure.
