Leeds-based digital solutions company, UX Global (UXG), has expanded into a 14,000 sq. ft. design and production facility and increased its headcount by a third to 29, underscoring its strategic growth ambitions.
Founded in 1983 as Unicam and rebranded in 2017, UXG specialises in designing and manufacturing bespoke digital, LED, and retail solutions for branded environments. Its notable clients include a prominent retail group, a leading electrical and technology group, and a major shopping centre in Bradford. The new facility, located on Low Lane in Horsforth, is 40% larger than the previous base on Kirkstall Road. This move has significantly boosted the company’s production capabilities and supported a substantial recruitment drive.
In line with these developments, UXG has brought on board seven new highly-skilled professionals in design, technology, and project roles, effectively increasing its workforce to 29. Among the latest senior hires are Paul Midwood, who joins as head of development with 16 years of experience in corporate identity and visual solutions, and Michael Wall, who takes up the role of production manager, bringing extensive experience in the digital field.
The new premises also house a state-of-the-art interactive technology showroom. This showroom features the latest in LED and video walls, as well as interactive tables and screens, which UXG utilises for client demonstrations and new business pitches. This enhancement aligns with the company’s ambition to enhance its service offerings and provide immersive client experiences.
Gary Williams, the chairman of UXG, stated, “We have quickly built an outstanding reputation as a multifaceted, full-service digital partner. This means we are winning repeat business and generating new opportunities in every sector we target.” He emphasised the company’s commitment to integrating impactful technology with excellent customer service to create compelling branded retail environments. He added, “UXG has ambitious plans to grow the business further over the coming months and years. Our strategic growth plan will see us win more business from the digital marketplace, recruit more talent from across the region and continue delivering our distinct approach.”
The expansion into a larger facility and the strategic recruitment drive position UXG to capitalise on its growth potential, further solidifying its presence in the digital solutions market.
