The Institute of Coding has partnered with JP Morgan to launch a new digital degree apprenticeship programme. This initiative is designed to allow the bank’s experienced employees to earn a master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Bath while continuing their employment. It follows the approval of the Digital & Technology Solutions Specialist qualification in August 2018.
Programme Structure
The apprenticeship is open to JP Morgan employees based in Bournemouth and London, specifically within the bank’s Global Technology group. The pilot group consists of 15 participants who started the programme in October 2018. Each participant will dedicate the equivalent of one day per week to their studies over the next 2.5 years, culminating in an MSc accreditation.
