A prominent construction consultancy has inaugurated its new regional base in the heart of Bristol. The firm is now part of a thriving business community in the recently revamped Blok building.

The Blok building, strategically located by Castle Park, has undergone a £12 million refurbishment. This significant investment has transformed the property into a modern workspace, attracting numerous businesses.

Coreus Group, a South West based construction consultancy, has occupied 1,500 sq ft of space in Blok. The new office provides a contemporary working environment tailored to meet the needs of its employees.

Andrew Clancy, managing director of Coreus, stated, “We absolutely love the space. Our newly fitted out office provides a modern working environment, but most importantly it is a place where our employees actually want to come to work.”

Blok has proven highly attractive to the business community. With 70,000 sq ft of workspace, it is already 65% let to a variety of companies.

The building boasts an additional 11,000 sq ft of communal lounges, meeting rooms, and welfare spaces, enhancing its appeal to potential tenants.

Real estate firm Boultbee Brooks acquired the 1980s property in 2021, spearheading its transformation. The building now hosts several notable tenants, including Basekit and Irwin Mitchell Solicitors.

Blok offers flexible leasing terms, catering to a wide range of business needs. Spaces range from 1,000 sq ft to 12,000 sq ft, providing adaptable solutions for various companies.

This flexibility has contributed to the building’s success in attracting high-calibre tenants, as noted by James Whitcher, managing director of Boultbee Brooks. He remarked on Blok’s popularity within the region’s business community.

The refurbished Blok building features several amenities designed to enhance the tenant experience. These include a courtyard garden, roof terrace, and a private gym.

An independent coffee shop and ‘Rewired’, a spin-off from local brewer Left Handed Giant, are also set to open, further boosting the building’s appeal.

Such amenities provide a well-rounded environment, supporting both professional and personal well-being.

Blok’s central location by Castle Park places it at the heart of Bristol’s business district. This prime position offers easy access to transport links and local amenities.

The strategic location is a key factor in its attractiveness to businesses seeking a prominent base in the city.

The opening of Coreus Group’s new regional office in Bristol’s Blok building signifies a robust addition to the area’s business landscape. The building’s modern amenities and prime location continue to attract a diverse range of tenants, affirming its status as a premier business hub in Bristol.
