Gavin Sherratt, co-founder of a multi-award-winning agency, has embarked on his latest venture, GoodShip.
GoodShip is a new ‘collaboration agency’ focused on building creative and tech teams to develop solutions that service the growth ambitions of partner clients. In addition to providing development services, it offers collaborative consultancy where it integrates within an organisation or project to support the creation of business-boosting strategies and ideas. Leveraging 27 years of expertise in the tech and digital sector, Sherratt aims to work with tech, business development, creative, and development teams to identify and deliver effective solutions.
This new approach by GoodShip introduces a broad network of business, creative, and tech talent to organisations and projects. It supports management teams and founders in making key decisions, helping them to accurately scope projects, build solid foundations for their initiatives, and ensure their success.
The new venture is set to launch officially on Thursday, September 19. The event, organised under the community brand, KinShip, and supported by Growth Platform, will be held at the Liverpool Slush’d pre-conference social at Ryde Cafe on Mann St. The event is free, and tickets are available through the GoodShip website.
Sherratt elaborated, ‘Earlier this year, Mashbo’s founders decided to explore our own missions after nearly 14 years working together, so launching GoodShip is an exciting, fresh challenge for me.’
Over the summer, GoodShip worked to assemble an experienced network of creatives and developers as its foundation. As Sherratt mentioned, ‘We will be looking to work with new talent as we grow.’
He further added, ‘We are going to build on previous experiences, which includes bringing back our Creative Kitchen network under the new name of KinShip.’
Sherratt also expressed enthusiasm about the projects GoodShip has been working on with its first clients, stating, ‘We are excited to share these in the near future and look forward to bringing more clients aboard, especially those that address business and social challenges where creativity and tech can enable positive change and growth.’
