Challenger telecoms provider CircleLoop is set for significant growth following a successful seed funding round of £1.5 million.

This investment marks a pivotal moment for the Lancashire-based start-up, known for its innovative cloud-based phone software.

CircleLoop aims to revolutionise the telecom industry with its app-based phone software. The platform allows businesses to consolidate mobile and landline numbers into a single system, eliminating the need for expensive desk phones, line rentals, and long-term contracts.

Co-founder Damian Hanson expressed his belief in CircleLoop’s potential to challenge industry norms. “We believe the telecoms market in the UK remains painful and unnecessarily expensive for many businesses,” Hanson stated, emphasising the company’s mission to offer a unique alternative.

Having spent most of 2017 in beta, CircleLoop is now onboarding new customers. The company has recently launched new desktop applications for Mac and Windows, along with enhanced user experiences for its iOS and Android apps.

Significant partnerships have also been formed, including a collaboration with the eCommerce platform EKM. As EKM’s preferred telephony partner, CircleLoop now offers its services to 25,000 EKM customers, significantly broadening its market reach.

The £1.5 million funding will be strategically used to accelerate CircleLoop’s growth within the UK market.

A key focus will be integrating the CircleLoop platform with other software-as-a-service (SaaS) products, particularly customer relationship management (CRM) tools. This integration aims to create a seamless experience for users, further enhancing the platform’s value.

CircleLoop’s growth strategy is supported by recent senior management hires, including Sean Ingham as Technical Manager and Matt Cowell as Head of Marketing.

Co-founder David Hague highlighted the company’s vision, stating, “Whilst we are just getting started with our vision for CircleLoop, we believe we have already developed something which is being welcomed in the market.”

CircleLoop continues to innovate in the telecom sector. The platform’s ability to integrate with existing devices aims to offer a more flexible and cost-effective solution for businesses.

By focusing on user experience and technological advancements, CircleLoop is positioned to disrupt traditional telecom models.

CircleLoop places a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction. The company’s approach includes working closely with customers and partners to continuously improve its services and features.

This customer-centric strategy ensures that CircleLoop remains responsive to market needs and poised for long-term success.
