Christopher Ward has recently attained the status of Founding Partner at Everton Stadium, marking a significant development in the relationship between the watch brand and Everton Football Club.
This long-term agreement will see the watch brand being recognised as the presenting partner of the new social space, Dock On 1. This area, comprising bars and restaurants, aims to provide members with a flexible matchday experience tailored to modern football fans’ preferences. The creative team at the watch brand will influence the design and experience of Dock On 1’s four socialising and dining spaces.
In addition to this, Dock On 1 will feature an immersive watch showroom, the first of its kind to be integrated into a football stadium worldwide. This showroom will be open on non-matchdays as an exclusive, invitation-only space, offering a unique client experience with brand ambassadors. On matchdays, the space will transform into a private dining experience.
Richard Kenyon, Everton’s Chief Commercial and Communications Officer, commented on the partnership: “This is an exciting deal for Everton as we look forward to our move to our new stadium. This is the third Founding Partner we have announced this summer and represents an innovative collaboration which will provide a range of benefits not only to the watch brand and the Club but directly to our supporters in some of the premium spaces in our new home.”
The expansion of the watch brand as a Founding Partner adds to its existing partnerships with Everton, which have included its roles as Official Timing Partner and Official Sleeve Partner, among others. This collaboration began in 2022 and has extended to supporting Everton Women and community initiatives.
