charitys expansion to larger premises drives job growth business manchester

A charity’s recent relocation to more expansive premises in Lowton, Wigan, is set to generate up to 15 new jobs.

The Remarkable Autism charity has transitioned to a new headquarters at Stone Cross Court, East Lancashire Road, to support its substantial growth. The modern, self-contained unit spans an impressive 4,177 sq ft, designed to accommodate the charity’s expanding team. The two-storey office features large meeting and conference rooms, promoting a collaborative working environment.

Robin Bush, the CEO, stated, “Over the last few years, Remarkable Autism has undergone a significant period of growth across each of our provisions. With such growth comes a need for us to offer a more bespoke and flexible workspace for our central team colleagues. The new space will allow us to welcome new staff into our organisation and provide all colleagues with a central hub for collaborating, training opportunities, meetings and so much more.”

He further added, “It is an incredibly exciting time at Remarkable Autism. We have ambitious plans, and this new office space is just the beginning of what promises to be another truly remarkable year for our organisation.”

Remarkable Autism, initially based in Newton-le-Willows, operates three core provisions: Wargrave House School, Ascent Autism Specialist College, and Sundial Therapy. The decision to relocate central operations aims to attract more individuals to join the charity’s mission to improve the lives of autistic individuals.

The newly leased office accommodates several business functions, including human resources, administration, and finance. The leasing process, managed by joint letting agents Parkinson Real Estate and Hitchcock Wright & Partners, concluded swiftly. Dan Crawshaw from Parkinson Real Estate commented, “This most recent letting at Stone Cross Court means the scheme benefits full occupancy once again. Stone Cross Court has proved a popular development and due to the quality of the products and its sought after regional positioning, equal distance between Liverpool and Manchester, space does not remain here for long.” He added, “Leaders at Remarkable Autism completed their own due diligence extremely quickly to allow them to enter into early lease negotiations and credit should be given to the respective professional teams acting both for the landlord, our clients (Eric Wright Group), and Remarkable Autism.”

The expansion signifies a major milestone for the Remarkable Autism charity, reflecting its commitment to growth and its mission to enhance the lives of autistic individuals.
