Lancashire-based nursery management software specialist, Connect Childcare, is marking its 20th anniversary with the release of the second edition of its expert-led guide for the early years sector. This milestone is a testament to the company’s long-standing commitment to improving nursery management through innovative solutions.
The new edition, titled ‘The ABC of Nursery Management,’ compiles insights from 26 prominent industry figures. Dr Julian Grenier CBE, Cheryl Hadland, and June O’Sullivan OBE are among the notable contributors. This alphabet-style guide offers practical advice on a variety of essential topics, such as funding, Ofsted inspections, and SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities). It also touches on crucial issues like staff recruitment and retention, making it a comprehensive resource for those in the industry.
Chris Reid, CEO of Connect Childcare, shared his enthusiasm: ‘Due to the overwhelmingly positive response we had following the initial publication of the ABC guide back in 2022, it’s been a pleasure to relaunch the guide in recognition of our 20th year in business.’ He noted the consistent dedication of those in the early years sector to best practices and positive outcomes for children.
June O’Sullivan OBE, CEO of the London Early Years Foundation, focused on the qualities of effective leadership in her contribution. In August 2024, Connect Childcare will officially celebrate two decades of service to the early years sector. The company, which employs over 50 staff and collaborates with more than 3,500 nurseries across the UK, continues its mission to support and advance nursery management through its innovative software solutions.
