Independent property company Hortons has relocated its headquarters to Fifteen Colmore Row in Birmingham’s Colmore Business District, following the sale of its previous base at Latham House on Paradise Street last year.

Hortons has taken a portion of the first-floor suite within Fifteen Colmore Row, a recently refurbished grade A office building that the company also owns and manages. The relocation marks a significant step for the firm, reflecting its ongoing commitment to providing a modern and flexible working environment for its team.

Fifteen Colmore Row offers five floors of office space and amenities designed to cater to contemporary business needs. These facilities include a new business lounge, a rooftop terrace, and bicycle parking. This strategic move enables Hortons to leverage the building’s prime location in the heart of Birmingham’s city centre.

The property is also home to several prominent occupiers, such as property consultancies Fisher German and RLB, engineering firm Cundall, and the Pasture Restaurant Group, which recently inaugurated a 7,000 sq ft venue on the ground floor. This diverse tenant mix underscores the building’s appeal and suitability for a variety of business operations.

Steve Benson, Hortons’ Chief Executive, highlighted the advantages of the new premises, stating, ‘We have invested in the upgrade of Fifteen Colmore Row to create a flexible, high-quality office environment that caters to the needs of a modern workforce. The building benefits from an excellent location in the heart of Birmingham’s city centre and is a perfect fit for our business.’

This relocation is part of a broader trend in the commercial property sector, where businesses are increasingly prioritising high-quality office spaces that offer both functionality and a prime location. As remote work continues to influence workplace dynamics, the demand for well-equipped and strategically located office spaces remains robust.

The relocation of Hortons to Fifteen Colmore Row signifies a forward-thinking approach, aligning with current trends in the commercial property market. This move is expected to enhance operational efficiency and provide an optimal work environment for its employees.
