Beer-to-beer network seeks crowdfunding

beer to beer network seeks crowdfunding business manchester

A new iOS and Android travel beer app is preparing to open for investment through a crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube, following its recent milestone of 10,000 registered active users. This innovative app offers 110 app-led beer tours, mapping out the leading pubs, bars, restaurants, breweries, and taprooms in 85 cities and towns.

Having launched in several new cities in 2018, including Moscow, Bangalore, Hong Kong, and Las Vegas, the company aims to raise £300,000 to build on these successes. “We’re super excited to be offering our global community and fans of beer all over the world the opportunity to invest in our business,” said founder Jonny Quirk.

The company has identified new hires in sales, marketing, and community-building, and has developed new features for the app which are ready for deployment. Jonny Quirk, the creator and former Yelp UK & Ireland Regional Manager, stated that the rise in beer tourism made the creation of the app inevitable. “Everyone has a new favourite beer or brewery they want to try, whether that’s an hour away or on the other side of the planet,” he explained.

The app will be monetised through advertisements, aiming to blend technology with real-life touring. The platform will transform into a high ROI B2B advertising platform for offline businesses, bringing tangible customers to offline venues every day.

With the planned crowdfunding campaign, the company is set to further expand its innovative offering and continue capitalising on the growing trend of beer tourism.
