BBC Scotland has confirmed a new series of “The Agency: Unfiltered”.

BBC Scotland has officially announced the commissioning of a third series of the popular reality show, “The Agency: Unfiltered.” This series further explores the intriguing and often glamorous realm of social media influencers. Produced by IWC Media, under the umbrella of Banijay UK, the programme will continue to provide an inside look into the workings of Aquarius Creative, which stands as Scotland’s largest influencer agency.

Since its debut in February 2023, “The Agency: Unfiltered” has captivated audiences, particularly attracting younger viewers, with 58% of its substantial 1.2 million total streams on BBC iPlayer coming from the 16-34 age group. The programme’s unvarnished portrayal of the influencer domain has resonated well, earning it a nomination in the Entertainment category for the 2024 BAFTA Scotland Awards. These accolades are a testament to its growing influence in the media landscape.

Aquarius Creative, led by founders Kirsten and Amy, will remain at the heart of the upcoming series. Their business has experienced significant growth, leading to a relocation to a new office space in Hamilton that is seven times larger than their initial headquarters. In addition to housing their operations, the company plans to utilise this new venue for hosting photoshoots, podcasts, and TikTok Live events, reflecting their adaptability and forward-thinking approach.

The forthcoming series promises to be more dynamic, featuring the introduction of the Aquarius Academy, a new initiative that signals further expansion and innovation for the company. Viewers can anticipate enhanced drama, glamour, and fresh insights into the influencer business, alongside both familiar and fresh personalities from across the United Kingdom. Filming is currently in progress, and the series is slated for release on BBC Scotland and BBC iPlayer in 2025.

Kirsten and Amy have expressed their excitement for the forthcoming series, highlighting their enthusiasm for sharing more of their journey and the challenges they face. They have acknowledged the overwhelming positive reception of past series and their eagerness to unveil the developments at Aquarius Creative. BBC Scotland’s Louise Thornton and Executive Producer Laura Capaldi have shared similar sentiments, praising the show’s ability to captivate and engage audiences.

The upcoming third season of “The Agency: Unfiltered” promises to deliver deeper insights and greater drama into the world of influencers.
