In a move that underscores its dedication to fostering young talent, a prominent chartered accountancy, business advisory, and financial planning group has appointed ten new apprentices for its 2024 intake. This marks the second consecutive year the firm has extended such opportunities, reflecting its ongoing commitment to nurturing the next generation of professionals in the finance sector.
The new apprentices will be working across various divisions in the Blackburn and Bury offices, including audit, accounting, and cloud accounting. Among the appointees are Adam Ball, Isabelle Parkinson, Dylan Brogden, Ayaz Adam, Elle Hilton, Aaliya Vali, and Maria Gomes, all of whom will be studying towards the Association of Accounting Technicians qualification.
In addition to the main group, Zain Shahzad has joined the audit team where he will be undertaking the Level 7 Professional Accountant apprenticeship, aspiring to become a Chartered Accountant. Meanwhile, Kyle Doherty, a student from Manchester Metropolitan University, has also joined the audit team for his placement year.
The financial planning team will welcome Beth Sant as a trainee client relationship associate, who will be pursuing a Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship. All new trainees will participate in the firm’s Apprentice Bootcamp to gain insights into the organisation and work closely with their respective teams to acquire practical experience alongside their studies.
The managing partner, Helen Clayton, remarked, “September is always a highlight of the year as we welcome the newest apprentices to the team. Every single one of them has demonstrated a desire to succeed and excel, which is inspiring. Our focus will now be supporting them as they achieve their career goals and ensuring they become an integral part of the business where they can succeed.”
This initiative not only highlights the firm’s investment in the future of the finance industry but also sets a precedent for other firms to follow in supporting and developing emerging talent.
