Alexander & Co, a Manchester-based chartered accountancy and tax advisory firm, has announced the strengthening of its tax team with the addition of six new members.
Chris Rex brings six years of experience from a Greater Manchester accountancy firm to his new role as a tax manager. Joining him is Matt Lenney, who shifts from Alexander & Co’s audit and accounts department, where he spent five years, to also become a tax manager.
Further reinforcing the team, Cody Goldsbrough steps in as a tax senior with nine years of expertise in accountancy and tax at various Manchester firms. The firm is also integrating three new members into its prestigious graduate training program. Robyn Ormesher joins with a first from the University of Leeds, Tara Phethean comes onboard with a first from Loughborough University, and Jude Kehoe brings a 2.1 in Mathematics and Economics from Newcastle University.
Additionally, Loren Fisher, who started as a tax administrator, has been promoted to the graduate programme. The company also welcomed four graduates and A Level leavers to its audit and accounts teams in Manchester this autumn.
John McCaffery, Tax Partner and Head of Tax at Alexander & Co, commented on these significant hires by stating, “We continue to invest in our staff to better serve our growing client base. Our consistent client demand is matched with investment across all areas of the firm. At a time when many professional firms are experiencing increased financial constraints, our investment in people is testament to our persistent hard work and appears to be bucking the trend in the wider market.”
Alexander & Co maintains offices in both Manchester City Centre and Central London, advising clients within the UK and internationally.
These appointments underscore Alexander & Co’s commitment to growth and client service excellence. The firm’s strategic investment in talent is set to support its future expansion and sustained client satisfaction.
