In a significant development, Serotonin has been named as the digital marketing agency for Bella Italia. This appointment positions Serotonin at the forefront of delivering Bella Italia’s new national brand campaign, ‘Feel Bella’, which aims to generate substantial brand awareness through both digital and out-of-home (OOH) channels. Megan Trimble, Marketing Director at Bella Italia, expressed her enthusiasm for the collaboration, noting the synergies found with the Serotonin team in crafting a creative and strategic plan.
The campaign, crafted by Defiant, employs whimsical imagery that shows people being comforted by giant food dishes. Such innovative visual storytelling is poised to resonate well with audiences, enhancing brand recall and engagement. Initial digital efforts have been impressive, achieving over 2 million impressions and 215,000 thruplays on various paid social platforms. Additionally, the campaign has driven more than 7 million impressions, 208,000 site visits and 12,000 bookings via paid search channels.
Further enriching the campaign’s reach, Serotonin implemented out-of-home activities utilising static billboards and digital screens in high-traffic areas such as train stations and shopping centres across Newcastle. This OOH strategy garnered an impressive 8.5 million impressions over just two weeks, significantly amplifying the campaign’s visibility and footprint.
