Digital agency e3creative has been chosen to promote a groundbreaking cancer treatment research initiative led by the University of Manchester.
The Gary Neville-backed firm has been tasked with introducing an impactful online presence for the H2020 INSPIRE Project, which coordinates proton beam therapy (PBT) research throughout Europe. This endeavour encompasses website design, development, and strategy.
“The innovation stemming out of the INSPIRE project is astounding and the teams feel privileged to leverage their expertise to further the initiative,” commented managing director Jake Welsh. He emphasised that the multilingual web platform will act as a crucial resource, aiding the project in aligning research knowledge, resources, and communication with academia, industry, hospitals, policymakers, patients, and carers across multiple European territories.
Proton beam therapy, an advanced form of radiotherapy, is most commonly used in cancer treatment. The UK’s first NHS high-energy proton beam therapy centre is set to open at The Christie hospital in the autumn.
Professor Karen Kirkby, coordinator of INSPIRE, remarked, “With prestigious recognition across the globe, we are delighted to have e3creative on board to develop and deliver an innovative and creative digital platform that will help us achieve our goal of ensuring that excellent multi-disciplinary research is undertaken and best practice shared.”
The collaboration between the University of Manchester and e3creative represents a significant step forward in promoting advanced cancer treatment research across Europe.
