Specialist optimisation agency User Conversion has strengthened its team with the appointment of Llara Geddes as their new head of User Experience (UX).
Geddes, a seasoned professional, steps into this pivotal role at a significant time in User Conversion’s growth, leading the company’s research and design teams. She transitions from her in-house position at a cosmetics company, where she spearheaded the UX team.
With over seven years of experience in UX, Geddes has also held positions at Amaze and Tayburn, working on projects for clients such as Walmart, Hiscox, Princes Foods, and Oddfellows. Her journey in the field began in a physical retail setting, eventually progressing into digital and social media marketing, providing her with a broad understanding of user experience.
David Mannheim, founder and head of optimisation strategy at User Conversion, expressed his confidence in Geddes’s capabilities: ‘Having seen Llara work first hand, I knew she was perfect for a role to push our UX capabilities from good, to sensational.’
Geddes’s new role includes leading a team of eight UX specialists, catering to some of the UK’s largest online brands. She is enthusiastic about joining the team, stating, ‘Having worked both in-house and agency-side on big website design and build projects, I was attracted to User Conversion because of the opportunity to join a company focussed on improvement and iteration.’
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Geddes is a STEM Ambassador, where she leverages her expertise in UX to inspire young people about the importance of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths. Founded in 2015, User Conversion employs a robust process for conversion rate optimisation based on a deep understanding of user behaviour, delivering significant results for clients.
Geddes’s appointment reflects User Conversion’s commitment to enhancing its UX capabilities and driving forward a culture of continuous improvement.
