Sheila Beniams is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in recruitment, governance, and business strategy. A graduate of Stirling University with a BA (Hons) in Business Studies, her career spans over three decades, during which she has held pivotal roles in both the private and public sectors.
Currently based in the North East of England, Beniams leads a team for the Government Recruitment Service. In her role, she oversees recruitment for senior civil service positions across various government departments. Her strategic leadership has been crucial in setting and achieving objectives for high-profile recruitment campaigns, directly impacting the efficiency and success of government operations.
Furthermore, Beniams has demonstrated proficiency in leading large teams, managing pressure-intensive recruitment campaigns, and driving initiatives that prioritise diversity, inclusion, and social mobility within the Civil Service.
