Fans of Manchester United will soon see new digital displays outside Old Trafford as a Liverpool-based company makes its debut in Manchester.
Two expansive full-motion LED screens will be installed on the north and south facades of Hotel Football, a venue owned by former Manchester United stars and situated opposite Old Trafford. Strategically positioned, this site is traversed by 52,000 vehicles daily, with Manchester United drawing home crowds exceeding 75,000 per match.
This venture marks the beginning of a broader strategy by a Liverpool company to extend its advertising reach across Northern England over the next two years. The managing director expressed enthusiasm, stating, “This new partnership is one we’re very excited about. Both companies have huge growth ambition so I see the relationship working very well. I’m incredibly proud of our team, who have worked tremendously hard during the continual growth. This is an extremely exciting time for us, not only are we expanding into a new city, but this launch marks the beginning of our national rollout. Our goal is to have sites in the UK’s top seven cities by 2020, and we have some exciting projects in the pipeline to enable us to achieve this.”
Meanwhile, the operations director at the venue, also expressed optimism about the collaboration, noting, “We are thrilled to be working on their new venture in Manchester. We are looking forward to working collaboratively in conjunction with their two brand new screens over the coming months.”
The expansion into Manchester is poised to be a significant milestone for the Liverpool-based firm as it pursues its goal of establishing a presence in major cities across the UK.
